Hinckley Last Man Standing at Lee

LEE, N.H. --
Les Hinckley may have been the last guy at Lee USA Speedway Friday night who though he would have a chance to win the Laticrete Port City 100 with 11 laps remaining.

The Windsor Locks, Conn., racer was spun out of third place on a lap 89 restart, subsequently pitted to swap the right-side tires on his No. 06 Spafco Modified and surrendered any hope of scoring his first win of 2012.

Coby Hopes to Continue Winning Ways in Lincoln Tech 80

Perhaps no driver enters the Lincoln Tech 80 with more momentum on their side than Doug Coby. The Milford, CT native has won both Whelen Modified Tour events held at Stafford thusfar during the 2012 season, and he finished third in both Valenti Modified Racing Series events last season in the Rick Czarnecki owned #20 machine. Coby is hoping to continue his good fortunes at Stafford with another victory in the Lincoln Tech 80, and he says that his team just might have the proper recipe for him to do that. Read Full Story

When the Valenti Modified Racing Series returns to Stafford Motor Speedway on June 22 for the Lincoln Tech 80, defending series champion Chris Pasteryak will be looking for his second consecutive win at SMS. Pasteryak won the Shark Cycle last August at Stafford to become the third different VMRS winner at Stafford in as many races and he is hopeful to become the first VMRS repeat winner at Stafford.
