Fadden Racing NHMS Preview
NASCAR K&N Pro Series East

Julian Camilo Albaraccin - #54 AAIC Chevrolet

The New England 125 will mark Albarracin's fourth start in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East this season with Fadden Racing. The 16-year-old Columbian native has posted a best finish of 21st at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut, where he also led 11 laps before an engine problem caused the team to park the car for the day. His average start is 19th and his average finish is 21st.

The New England 125 will mark Albarracin's final appearance of the season in the NKNPSE. He will not compete at Dover, although Fadden Racing will still field an entry with a driver to be announced. Albarracin, however, will return to Fadden Racing to compete in 2011.

Julian will compete in an event in Columbia using a Fadden Racing car that was delivered to his hometown of Bogot last January. He will compete in that race, which is on a road course, the same weekend the K&N Pro Series East is at Dover.

Albarracin is currently 27th in the championship point standings.

Julian, who has never competed on a one-mile oval before, has set a conservative goal of finishing the New England 125 on the lead lap. He will be piloting a car the team calls "patches" - the same car he ran with at Gresham Motorsports Park last month.

Julian on his NHMS debut:

“This is an important race for me. I just want to go out there and try to earn respect from all of these drivers. They are very talented and I want to show them I belong out there with them. I'm still working on a learning curve so we've set some manageable goals for this weekend. I have this teams experience in my corner so I'm pretty excited about it."

Mike Olsen on Julian's progress:

“I think he has done really well. He is learning every week. Each time we've gone to a track he's taken something back from it. He's a quick learner. He can go to Loudon and finish on the lead lap and I would call that a successful day. Julian's not out there for points just yet - we just want him to learn and prepare for next season."
