CANAAN, N.H. --The 2010 Sprint Cars of New England season has been one to remember. SCoNE experienced its largest car counts ever and won legions of race fans by offering a thrilling, on-the-edge style of racing. While the points season has ended, SCoNE will deliver an encore this Labor Day weekend, pitting its stars in a three-race mini-series at Canaan Dirt (N.H.) Speedway on Friday, Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford on Saturday, and Big Daddy’s Speedbowl in Rumney, N.H., on Sunday.
The SCoNE Triple Crown series is expected to attract its own set of dedicated Triple Crown chasers as well as one-off invaders who will race once or twice during the weekend. Early entrants to the Triple Crown include 2010 champion Chris Donnelly, 2009 champion Tunk Berry, Robby Bodwell, Dan Douville, Lacey Hanson, Bruce Kimball, 2007 champion Shawn Lawler, and Randy Wimert.
In addition to individual race earnings, registered Triple Crown entrants will vie for bonus money, which will be distributed to the Triple Crown’s top 10 in points following the final race. The top five will receive special Triple Crown trophies courtesy of Kondrat Kustoms, and gift certificates to SCoNE’s official parts supplier, TheRaceDepot.com. All participants will be awarded with custom commemorative photo collages courtesy of DMac Racing Photos.
