Sharp Wins SCoNE Event At Canaan
CANAAN, N.H. -- Sprint Cars of New England driver Donnie Sharp took his first victory of the season at Canaan Dirt Speedway on Friday night. The Grafton, N.H., driver came back from retirement this year for his win.
Chaffee, a SCoNE rookie who is also leading the Twin State Modified Series, finished second in front of fellow freshman Chris Donnelly of Orford, N.H. Randy Howe of Lebanon, N.H., was fourth with Ossipee, N.H.’s Nick Berry fifth.
Shawn Lawler, Dan Douville, Clay Dow, Mark Cole, and Bruce Kimball completed the top ten.
The SCoNE series races tonight at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford at 6:00pm.
