Keselowski Wins Nationwide Pole, Sellers Disqualified
LOUDON, N.H. -- NASCAR Nationwide Series point leader Brad Keselowski will start on the pole for today’s New England 200 race at 3:30pm. Keselowski, of Rochester Hills, Mich., posted a lap of 29.376 seconds at 129.657 mph in his #22 Ruby Tuesday Dodge for the pole.
Carl Edwards will start alongside Keselowski in second, driving his #60 Copart.com Ford to a time of 29.404 seconds at 129.533 mph. Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, and Justin Allgaier completed the top five, followed by Steve Wallace, Joey Logano, Austin Dillon, Jusitn Lofton, and rookie Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.
Danica Patrick, returning the Nationwide Series with JR Motorsports, will start 25th.
New England natives Sean Caisse and Charles Lewandoski will be in today’s race; Caisse, of Pelham, N.H., qualified 28th in the #09 RAB Racing Ford, while Staffford, Conn., driver Lewandoski’s #39 Ironclad Energy Ford will start 43rd as an alternate.
Peyton Sellers’ time was disallowed due to a penalty in post-qualifying inspection. Sellers’ car was found to be using an unapproved fuel. New England 200 Starting Lineup
