Ryan Truex Wins K&N East At New Hampshire
LOUDON, N.H. -- Defending NASCAR K&N Pro Series East champion Ryan Truex earned his first New Hampshire Motor Speedway victory on Friday afternoon, taking the New England 125 in dominant fashion.
Truex, a Michael Waltrip Racing development driver, joins his father, Martin Sr., and brother, Martin Jr., as a winner in the series at New Hampshire. Ryan Truex took the lead on lap 60 and withstood a restart with five laps remaining for the win.
Kevin Swindell finished second, followed by Darrell Wallace, Jr., Ryan Gifford, and polesitter Brett Moffitt. Ty Dillon finished sixth, followed by Alan Tardiff and Corey LaJoie.
Andrew Ranger, driving for Fairfax-based NDS Motorsports, finished ninth, with Eddie MacDonald tenth.
American-Canadian Tour driver Joey Polewarczyk, Jr., of Hudson, N.H., blew an engine on lap 15 and finished 32nd, last on the field. Full New England 125 Results
