Point Leader Keselowski Fastest In First Nationwide Practice
LOUDON, N.H. -- NASCAR Nationwide Series point leader Brad Keselowski was fastest in that series’ first practice session for the New England 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday morning. The Rochester Hills, Mich., racer drove the #22 Ruby Tuesday Dodge around the 1.058-mile track in 29.572 seconds at 128.018 mph.
Kevin Harvick was second fastest in the #33 Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches Chevrolet at 29.797 seconds and 127.825 mph. Paul Menard, David Gilliland, and Steven Wallace completed the top-five.
Pelham, N.H., native Sean Caisse (30.356 sec./125.471 mph) was 25th fastest in the #09 RAB Racing Ford. Danica Patrick, returning to the Nationwide Series for the first time since February, was 43rd fastest (31.228 sec./121.967 mph) of 45 cars. Full Practice Results Here
Qualifying for the New England 200 is scheduled for 10:05am on Saturday; the race begins at 3:30pm.
