BARRE -- It’s likely a good thing that Canada has Monday off for Labor Day, too, because Patrick Laperle has some celebrating to do. The St-Denis, Que., driver came south to Barre’s Thunder Road for the American-Canadian Tour’s Bond Auto Labor Day Classic 200 on Sunday, and returned home with his second $5,000 victory in a week. CANAAN, N.H. --The 2010 Sprint Cars of New England season has been one to remember. SCoNE experienced its largest car counts ever and won legions of race fans by offering a thrilling, on-the-edge style of racing. While the points season has ended, SCoNE will deliver an encore this Labor Day weekend, pitting its stars in a three-race mini-series at Canaan Dirt (N.H.)
