Devil's Bowl Enduro Closes Vermont Racing Season Saturday
WEST HAVEN -- An Enduro double draws the curtain on the 2010 Vermont racing season on Saturday at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in West Haven. The 1/2-mile track will host its first “6/60 Enduro” featuring a six-lap, $60-to-win backwards race followed by a 60-lap, $250-to-win Enduro.
The program also includes a 20-lap, $50-to-win open feature for four-cylinder race cars to race against the track’s weekly Bomber Warrior class, spectator racing, and a swap meet in the parking area. Racing begins at 1:00pm, admission is $10.
The Champlain Valley Racing Association, which sanctions Devil’s Bowl Speedway and Albany-Saratoga Speedway in Malta, N.Y., will host several winter events including a 200-lap Enduro at Albany-Saratoga on November 27, a 100-lap Enduro at Albany-Saratoga on January 1, and snowmobile racing at Devil’s Bowl on January 22, February 5, and February 19.
