Laquerre, 68, takes back-to-front Pro Late feature after penalty
WEST HAVEN -- Mike Bruno completed an emotional weekend sweep of NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Modified victories at the Champlain Valley Racing Association’s two tracks on Sunday, winning the 30-lap feature race at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in West Haven. Riding with a tribute to his late father, the Castleton driver opened the weekend with a victory at the Albany-Saratoga Speedway sister track in Malta, N.Y., on Friday. Read Full Story
Bruno Wins Albany-Saratoga Mid-Season Championship

MALTA, N.Y. -- After getting a late start to the racing season, Castleton, Vt.'s Mike Bruno found himself staring at a big deficit in the NASCAR Modified point race at Albany-Saratoga Speedway.
But it's never to late to start a comeback.
Bruno, who lost the 2010 track championship on the final night of the season, started another climb toward the top Friday night with a victory in the double-points Mid-Season Championship at the historic Malta, N.Y., track. Read Full Story
JEREMY JONES: First To Worst
WEST HAVEN -- Jeremy Jones of Leicester, Vt., was looking for his first career victory in the 20-lap Renegade feature at Devil's Bowl Speedway, but instead ended up on his door a lap from the finish.
Jones was racing side-by-side for the lead with Josh Coonradt as the white flag flew when he swung wide out of Turn 4 and slapped the wall. Jones' No. 5 McDonald's/Rosen Berger, Inc. Chevrolet then bounced up on its side and slid down the frontstretch. Read Full Story
