Vermont Motorsports Magazine Announces 2010 Driver of the Year Candidates
Over sixty stock car racers nominated for fan awards
BURLINGTON, VT -- The Vermont Motorsports Magazine website has announced the nominations for its second annual “Driver of the Year” awards. The fan-voted awards will recognize stock car drivers from Vermont or racing in Vermont for their efforts during the 2010 season across ten categories.
A diverse group of sixty-two drivers from asphalt, dirt, full-fender, and open-wheel disciplines make up the ballot. Read Full Story

MALTA, N.Y. -- The Champlain Valley Racing Association will be taking a page of out its history book as it heads into the 2011 racing season.
Facing an uncertain economy and with the desire to cultivate a new group of young drivers, the CVRA will be making a full conversion of its open-wheel modified division to General Motors "602 crate" motors for 2011. Read Full Story
