Proctor Steals One At Devil's Bowl

WEST HAVEN -- Ron Proctor has been very good at Devil's Bowl Speedway since the beginning of the 2011 campaign, but sometimes you still need a little bit of luck.
Facing a second-place finish Sunday night, Proctor watched as leader Hunter Bates crashed with a lapped car on the final lap, and then pulled away in a green-white-checker finish to win the 30-lap NASCAR Modified feature at the Bowl. Read Full Story
Bruno "Lucks" Into Devil’s Bowl Double

WEST HAVEN -- Mike Bruno has had a good season by just about any standard. Between his open-wheel Modified and his full-fender Pro Late Model cars, the Castleton driver had won nine feature races at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in West Haven and Albany-Saratoga Speedway in New York.

Mueller, 16, Takes First Career Win At Devil's Bowl

WEST HAVEN -- The generations clashed in the 30-lap NASCAR Modified feature at Devil's Bowl Speedway Sunday night, and the fresh-faced kid beat the wily old veteran.
Jessey Mueller, who recently turned 16, held off a late challenge from Ron Proctor to record the first victory of his Modified career in a highly entertaining feature at the Bowl. Mueller became the third teenager to win a feature in the NASCAR Modified division at the Bowl this season, joining Hunter Bates and Bobby Hackel. Read Full Story
