Northeastern Racing Weekend Washed Out

Ramstrom, McKennedy win at Star; Polewarczyk on PASS podium
Rain wreaked havoc on the northeastern short track racing scene, cancelling all but one event on Saturday and prompting officials to cancel Sunday races ahead of time.
Included in the cancellations were Wells River Chevrolet Night at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford on Saturday, and Sunday's season-opening event at Devil's Bowl Speedway in West Haven and the "Big Jab 150" for the American-Canadian Tour at Oxford Plains (Me.) Speedway. Read Full Story
Williams Gets Second Straight Win at Albany-Saratoga

MALTA, N.Y. -- Joe Williams is proving that doing your homework can pay off. After taking a season to get the intricacies of asphalt racing figured out, the Schenectady, N.Y., driver has become the top dog at Albany-Saratoga Speedway.
Williams continued his early-season hot streak Friday night, picking up his second-straight win in the 35-lap NASCAR Modified feature at the historic Malta track.
