BRADFORD --
The Bear Ridge Speedway 99ROCK Weekly Racing Series is set to acknowledge the top-finishing points competitors in each of its divisions plus the Ridge Runner Hornet Queens from its 43rd consecutive season, on Saturday, December 11, at the annual awards banquet.

The banquet, scheduled to kick into gear at 5:00pm, will be held at the Lake Morey Inn in Fairlee, Vermont.

On hand will be the top-ten finishers for the 2010 Bear Ridge Speedway 99ROCK Weekly Racing Series Bond Auto Parts Sportsman Modifieds, Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes, A Notch Above Auto Limited Late Models, Journal Opinion Fast Fours, KDD NAPA Ridge Runner Hornets, and Ridge Runner Hornet Queens. The 2010 track champion for the WYKR Sprint Cars of New England, Dan Douville, will be receiving his championship trophy as well.

A sold out house will be gathered to see the top-ten achievers receiving their accolades for the 2010 racing season. This sold out gathering caps what was a great season at The Ridge with car counts continuing to climb throughout the season, and fan counts on the rise as well. The season was completed without a rainout and with all 20 events being scored in the record books, saw a record number of rookies taking to the 1/4-mile clay oval, and saw the return of the famed No. 3 on Old Timers' Night when Brother Eastman was on hand to take his beautifully restored baby blue Coupe around the track for another spin.

History will be made with the crowning of Modified and Coupe champions Adam and Gene Pierson at the annual awards banquet, as this will be the first time in the history of The Ridge that a father and son are crowned the kings.

With Christmas just around the corner and plans already in progress for the 2011, get your Bear Ridge race fan a 2011 Season Pass. These will make great Christmas gifts and are available now; Adult Passes (age 17-61) are $150.00, Senior Passes (age 62 and up) and Teen Passes (age 12-16) are $125.00, the same rate as the past several years.
