WENTWORTH, N.H. – Hunter Nutter went from upside down to victory lane in just one week on Friday night at Legion Speedway.

The win for the Orford, N.H. driver was the first of his career and comes one week after he went upside down on the backstretch at Legion.

Nutter started the 20-lap Petro Mart of Enfield Super Street feature in the fourth spot and was reeling in early race leader Donald Ottati until Ottati drew a caution flag for a mechanical issue.

From there, Nutter pulled away from point leader Bob Crawford Jr. to secure the win.

Crawford, of Groton, N.H. finished second with second place point driver Doug Boucher third. J.P. Vaillancourt and Derrick Stearns completed the top-five finishers.

The Windsor, Vt. driver did so behind the wheel of his family-owned ride instead of his familiar Stuart Bean-owned car.

Sanville started on the pole position and built up a massive lead early in the event, which proved to be insurmountable as point leader Derek O’Hearn moved into the second spot but was unable to catch Sanville.

Point leader O’Hearn of Bristol, N.H. settled for second while Robbie Williams of Plainfield, N.H. finished third. Jason Sanville and Ryan Avery completed the top-five finishers.

Mike Lique of Lebanon, N.H. won the 20-lap Enfield Garage Outlaw Mini Stock feature after leader Aaron Bunker ran into trouble late in the event.

Point leader Matt Boucher finished second with Jonathon Baker third. Fabian Smith and Sean Lantas completed the top-five finishers.

Legion Speedway races again on Friday, August 12 with their three regular racing divisions plus a visit from the USAC Dirt Midget Association. Post time is set for 7:00pm.
