NORTH WOODSTOCK, N.H. — The Summer Showdown in the Mountains event scheduled for Saturday has been postponed to Sunday, July 24 due to rain.
The event will feature 150-lap races for the ACT Late Model Tour and the PASS North Super Late Models.
Rain had slid through the area multiple times throughout the afternoon and a weather forecast that called for heavy thunderstorms forced officials to postpone the event.
Thirty-two ACT Late Models and 20 PASS North Super Late Models had entered their respective events.
Tomorrow’s race will go green at 3:00pm with front general admission gates opening at noon.
