Speedway closed for summer break on July 16-17; Mid-Season Championship make-up dates TBD

(From track press release)

WEST HAVEN – Devil’s Bowl Speedway has once again been forced to postpone the racing action due to rain and wet grounds, this time on Sunday, July 10.  Sunday’s event was scheduled to be the Interstate All Battery Center Mid-Season Championships and “Vince Quenneville Sr. Memorial 38” on the 3/10-mile Dirt Track.

The weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Sportsman Modifieds and Mini Stocks were on the card, along with the Sprint Cars of New England, with each competing for double championship points. A driver autograph session was also to be held during intermission.

The Rutland Herald Mid-Season Championships on the half-mile Asphalt Track at Devil’s Bowl were also lost to weather on Saturday.

Devil’s Bowl Speedway is closed for its annual summer break on July 16-17 and the rained-out events will not be rescheduled for those dates.  Track officials will determine make-up dates for the Mid-Season Championship events, to be announced soon.

Devil’s Bowl Speedway is located on Route 22A in West Haven, Vt., four miles north of Exit 2 off of U.S. Route 4 and just 20 minutes from Rutland, Vt.  For more information, visit www.DevilsBowlSpeedwayVT.com or call.  Devil’s Bowl Speedway is on Facebook at facebook.com/DevilsBowlSpeedway and on Twitter and Instagram at @DevilsBowlSpeed; follow the action using the #DevilsBowl hashtag.
