Dockham takes second Tiger win

– Oren Remick might have missed a week, but he showed he didn’t miss a beat on Saturday night at White Mountain Motorsports Park.

The Warner, N.H. driver worked from a back-of-the-pack starting spot to get past Mike Jurkowski midway through the 50-lap NAPA Late Model feature to score the win.

The win for Remick is his second of the season and comes one week after he attended the ACT Late Model Tour event at Speedway 51 instead of White Mountain.

Jurkowski, of Claremont, N.H., finished second as he held off a feverish challenge from Quinny Welch, who settled for third. Matt Anderson and Stacy Cahoon finished fourth and fifth while Bernie Lantagne, Mike Clark, Jonathan Lemay, Allison Menard, and David Boyce completed the top-ten finishers.

Randy Dockham of Bethlehem grabbed his second win of the season in the Wells River Chevrolet Tiger feature.

Colin Cornell of East Burke, Vt. finished second with Matt Morrill of Moultonboro third. Tim Churchill and David Allbee completed the top-five finishers while sixth through tenth went to Shane Sicard, Stephen Hodgdon, Steven Heitz, James Capps, and David Baron Sr.

Bobby Brown of Lincoln, N.H. grabbed his first Twisted Tea Dwarf Car feature in of the season in their 25-lap event.

Tom Smithers of Gilford, N.H. finished second with hometown driver Mark Wiggett on the final step of the podium. Eric Corum and George Helliwell completed the top-five finishers.

Brett Jackson of Bethlehem, N.H. topped his son, Dustin Jackson, in the 20-lap Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Mini feature.

Dustin finished second while Jarred Ainsworth of Littleton, N.H., finished third. Scott Corey and Scott Senecal finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

Nathaniel Parkin won the 15-lap Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kid’s Truck feature.

R&R Fireworks will present the Fourth of July special on Saturday night, July 2 with a Dwarf Car special event, kid’s pit tour, and fireworks. Racing starts at 6:00pm.
