New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 Rescheduled to Sunday, April 24

LEE, N.H. – The northern New England racing season will have to wait just a little bit longer to see the green flag wave as Lee USA Speedway officials announced on Tuesday that the American-Canadian Tour New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 has been postponed.

The event, which was originally schedule to take place on Sunday, April 10, will now be held on Sunday, April 24.

Officials cited the current near-freezing temperatures, as well as a forecast that did not call for much of a warm up, as the reason for the postponement. It is the second straight year the New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 has been postponed.

The North East Mini Stock Tour and North East Classic Lites will kick off their 2016 seasons on the newly scheduled date.

The ACT Late Model Tour, however, will now see its season open on Sunday, April 17 as part of a twin-bill racing card with the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models at Oxford Plains Speedway. The ACT Late Models will go 100 laps with a post time at 2:00pm.
