ACT Announces 13 Race Schedule for 2015

Eleven different tracks make up point counting events, ACT Invitational back at NHMS

WATERBURY -- Thirteen races at 11 venues throughout the Northeast and Quebec will make up the 2015 ACT Late Model Tour schedule as series officials released the schedule for the upcoming season on Wednesday afternoon.
The season will kick off with the traditional New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 at Lee USA Speedway on Sunday, April 12 and conclude at the Thompson Speedway World Series on Saturday, October 17. It will be the first appearance at the 5/8ths mile oval for the Vermont-based series.
The ACT Late Model Tour will also make their first point-counting appearance at Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallee-Jonction, Que., on Saturday, September 12 for a 200-lap event, which will be run as a doubleheader event with the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models.
Previously announced dates will see the return of ACT Late Models to Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday, April 18 and Saturday, June 27 for 150 lap races. The April 18 date is a doubleheader event with the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models.
The Spring Green will return to Airborne Park Speedway on Saturday, May 16 after a four-year run at Devil’s Bowl Speedway. Devil’s Bowl will host the ACT Late Model Tour on Saturday, June 6 for a 100-lap event.
The ACT Late Model Tour will visit their home track, Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl, on Sunday, May 3 with the traditional Merchants Bank 150. The newly named Speedway 51 in Groveton, N.H., will welcome the ACT Late Models on Saturday, May 30 for a 151-lap race named “Lil’ Joey Generation Next 151’.
White Mountain Motorsports Park will welcome the ACT Late Model Tour on Saturday, June 20 for a 150-lap event, while Beech Ridge Motor Speedway sees the Late Models visit the 1/3-mile oval on Saturday, August 8 for the traditional 150-lap race.
The Can-Am returns to Circuit Riverside Speedway in Ste-Croix, Que., on Saturday, August 22 for a 150-lap event. The Fall Foliage 200 will be run on Saturday, October 3 at Airborne Park Speedway.
Five non-point counting events will make up the balance of the 2015 schedule. The series will return to New Smyrna Speedway on Monday, February 16 and Tuesday, February 17 for 100 lap events in the American Racer Cup.
The ACT International will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19 and run as a doubleheader event with the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models; each series will run a 200-lap feature event.
The Bond Auto Parts ACT Invitational returns to New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 26 for the seventh season. The 53rd Milk Bowl will be run at Thunder Road on Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11.
