Devil’s Bowl Speedway played host to a some wild stock car racing action under a full moon on Friday, July 31, and saw two first-time winners on Allen Pools & Spas Night. Wet weather forecasted for Friday forces postponement

Devil’s Bowl Speedway will suffer its first rainout of the 2015 season on Friday, July 24, as a result of a wet forecast into the evening. With showers and possible thunderstorms expected until at least 6:00 p.m., management from Devil’s Bowl Speedway and the Valenti Modified Racing Series have agreed to postpone the inaugural Newport Chevrolet-Buick-GMC 100. Bryant and Bushey take first wins; LaVair makes it five straight

Vince Quenneville Jr. is loving his new racecar, and he parked it in victory lane at Devil’s Bowl Speedway for the second week in a row on Friday, July 10. The Brandon, VT veteran won the double-points Rutland Herald Mid-Season Championship event, making it a perfect two-for-two in his new Troyer chassis. Donnelly takes SCoNE Sprint Car feature, Douville Triple Crown champ

Veteran stock car driver Tim LaDuc of Orwell, VT made a triumphant return to victory lane on Sunday, July 5, winning the WhistlePig Straight Rye Whiskey Independence Day Special at The Dirt Track at Devil’s Bowl Speedway. LaDuc ended a five-year victory drought and carried the checkered flag in the 50-lap Liberty Street Discount Beverage & Deli Sportsman Modified race after a race-long fight with Josh Sunn. Chris Donnelly used an early race restart to get by Troy Comeau and held onto it through two more restarts to claim the win in the final leg of the Sprint Cars of New England Triple Crown weekend at The Dirt Track at Devil’s Bowl Speedway while Dan Douville claimed the overall Triple Crown championship.
