WEST HAVEN -- Joey “Fireball” Roberts held off a strong challenge in Bond Auto Parts Modified stock car action to win the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season opener at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Sunday, May 18. The victory came on Whelen Engineering/Mobil 1 Opening Day, an event postponed two days by wet weather. Read Full Story

BARRE -- The ground-pounding Modifieds are headed back to the road – Thunder Road. The Northern Modified Challenge Series opens its second year of open-wheel stock car racing at the Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT on Sunday, May 25.
